Your apple should look like this!

You should be able to see right through your apple!

Step 2

Using a spoon, fill the hole in the apple with peanut butter. This may take a few spoonfuls, and the use of your hands.¬†Don’t be afraid to get messy!

Remember, not all dogs like the same foods, and some may experience allergies to the ingredients used. Supervise your pup while he eats this treat to make sure he is safe and enjoying the snack. Limit his peanut butter and apple intake if you are concerned about weight gain. If your dog needs to gain a few pounds, feed him this treat once per day.

For dogs who have sensitivities to acidic food, replace the apple with a carrot, or less acidic vegetable.
